VOAProp is a software developed by G4ILO to predict the propagation of high-frequency radio waves over a specified path. The software provides radio amateurs, shortwave listeners, and other radio enthusiasts with a tool to plan their communication by estimating the best frequency bands, modes of operation, and time of day to establish a reliable contact with another radio station.

The program uses a sophisticated algorithm to model the behavior of radio waves over the ionosphere in real-time based on the Sun's current position, solar flux, and geomagnetic conditions. The software includes a graphical user interface that enables the user to input their station location, select a destination, and displays a range of information such as predicted signal strength, maximum usable frequency, and recommended transmission baud rate.

The VOAProp software supports a variety of modes including voice, Morse code, digital modes, and SSTV. The program also allows the user to define customized channel lists and import or export historical data.
